We are pleased to announce Mikihiko Kyobashi solo exhibition
“Rarotonga - Land of Blue” from 12th June to 27th.
Mikihiko Kyobashi is known for his hunting photography of waves.
He has traveled more than ten years. And since 2002,
he started to take a photograph by diving without diving equipment
because he wanted to take a photograph while feeling a wave directly.
And he always takes a photograph without looking finder views to catch a true picture of wave and remove artificiality.
His works represent strength and vitality of nature.
This exhibition consists of his new works taken at Cook Islands Rarotonga island. He went to Rarotonga island and dived to take a photograph in this March. He said “There were rolling waves”.
This exhibition represents his feeling of awe for nature and the beauties of nature.
