On 12 May 2016, NORTON GALLERY will open “BUG REPORTS”, an exhibition of new work by Yuki Hikawa.
In the late 80’s Yuki Hikawa worked in advertising as an art director in New York.
After moving back to Japan she has started her mixed media art project “Drawing In Stiches”where she expressed her daily emotions with needlework.
From early on she has applied needlework across the multi layers of printed paint on self-crafted canvas
of wood and fabric, which has resulted in creating the uniquely three dimensional texture.
This exhibition will be composed of new work by Yuki Hikawa in the theme of “BUG REPORTS”.
